Antwerpen Open is an independent arts organisation, founded in April 1997 with the mission of promoting the international cultural reputation of Antwerp and Flanders in a city marketing context. It also contributes to the implementation of the city’s cultural policies, initiating its own projects and supporting selected projects and events organised by other Antwerp players.

Antwerpen Open is active in various fields and realizes its projects through an integrated approach. It merges different initiatives into a programme, coordinates and realises the projects and handles their communication and promotion.
